When our family dog Maxx died several years ago, I was shocked at the lack of services available for pet owners to help them through the process of pet death after-care. From pragmatic issues like cremation choices and paw imprints to the emotional issues of loss and closure, we couldn't find anyone who truly had a plan or the compassion to help us. So I started Petatree to provide Pet owners like you and your family all the things you need to know to get you through your pet loss journey your way. Our approach is based on three key life lessons: Our pets are our family members and need to be treated with compassion and respect in life and in death. To help us do that, we need to accept and embrace death as a part of the journey of the circle of life; We get closure when we do something for our pets - in death - that is equal to the love they provided us in life. Our clients discover that their Petatree Memorial Tree is a natural, living symbol of their journey that lets them celebrate the life of their pet and represents another lifetime of love.
